The Centomiglia is one of the world’s longest-running and most respected regattas, recognized for its history and impact on the sailing scene.
Lake Garda offers a unique natural theater, with clear waters framed by mountains, historic villages and landscapes of rare beauty.
The regatta welcomes a wide range of boats, from modern catamarans to classic monotypes, making the competition accessible and interesting for all types of sailors.
While keeping the traditions of sailing alive, the Centomiglia is also a laboratory of innovation, featuring advanced technologies and new designs in the field of boating.
Participating in the Centomiglia means experiencing the excitement of sailing at the highest level, surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery and in an atmosphere of great enthusiasm.
The winner of the Centomiglia will be the monohull or multihull first in real time at the finish line resulting from the combined ranking (Gorla Trophy + Bettoni Trophy)
Participating without ranking, but with a “non-competitive” order of arrival will be the sailors of the Cento People, a white-sailing sailboat, with a shortened route that will see the free participation of many passionate “non-competitive” sailors, families and non-profit associations that use sailing as a bonding and therapeutic moment.
It is the Centomiglia in miniature dedicated to the youngest (Optimist and dinghies under 18), to put them in touch with the sailing they will be able to practice once they are older. The initiative is aimed at spreading sports culture, values of fairness and healthy competition among young people.
